PHJ press release by: Megan Brincks
Opportunities abound at the 2014 AjPHA Youth World Championship Show to support the American Paint Horse Foundation, which gives more than $50,000 in scholarships to APHA Youth every year.
If you’re attending the Youth World Show and NSBA Color of Money, June 23-July 5 in Fort Worth, Texas, there are three extraordinarily easy ways to help ensure these scholarships continue for years to come:
Wednesday, July 2
3 p.m., Brown-Lupton North Hallway
After a roaring good time in at the 2013 Open/Amateur World Championship Show, the ping-pong tournament is back to raise money for the APHF Youth World Show Scholarship Fund. Whether you’re on a team or playing solo, everyone is invited to compete. To enter the contest, just show up ready for some friendly competition.
Fan-guy.com, outside Brown-Lupton North
When you rent a fan through fan-guy.com, $50 of your rental fee will be given to APHF. So stay cool and make sure to thank this fantastic World Show Sponsor when you pick up and drop off your barn fan.
Gold Sale Seal
APHA Show Office and APHA MemberCare Booth, Richardson-Bass Building
If you have a horse for sale, tell the world every time he goes into the arena with a gold seal on his exhibitor number. For a $100 donation to APHF, you get a gold sticker that will stand out in the arena, complimentary lamination of your numbers, and a listing on the Youth World Show website.
If you are watching the show from afar via the iEquine live feed, head over to the APHF website, aphfoundation.org, and click on “Funding Scholarships” for information about donating directly to any of the APHF scholarship funds or for information about applying to receive a scholarship.
