Did you wait until the last minute and have nothing to give your barn-mates or horse-loving better half? Never fear, we’ve got you covered!
V-Day Horse Cookies
Step 1- Pick up some horseshoe shaped chocolates or cookies.
Step 2- Place a few in a small plastic treat bag and tie with a red ribbon.
Step 3- Print a label or use a handwritten tag with one of the following fun sayings… Emphasize the play on words by highlighting in red ink.
Option- If your valentine likes flowers instead of chocolate, pick a phrase below and attach to a bundle of red roses.
If you’re a bit more crafty, these adorable horse cookies are easy to make.
Step 1- Coat a Nutter Butter cookie in melted chocolate. Apply a mini Nilla Wafer for the nose.
Step 2- Use melted white and/or dark chocolate in a piping bag to add markings and a forelock.
Step 3– Use melted chocolate to attach chocolate-covered almonds (cut in half) for the ears.
Step 4- Stick on candy eyes, which can be found at any craft store.
