What Happens to 200 NYC Horses if Carriage Rides End?
Controversy is brewing once again regarding the carriage horses that work and live in New York City. Recently, NYC’s new mayor, Bill de Blasio, spoke with The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart about his belief that working horses don’t belong in this type of urban environment.
Now, many people are beginning to wonder what will happen to the nearly 200 horses licensed to pull carriages in New York City if the carriage rides are stopped.
