I’d like to share with you some key points of our “DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH” HORSE SALE that is NOW open for bids, closes Wednesday, February 5th so that you don’t miss out on a very unique opportunity to capitalize.

First of all this is a SPECIAL OFFERING of “exceptional” halter horses; this is not a fire sale !!! We reached out to some of our top WCHA Breeders asking them to consign horses that could go on and have very successful show careers for new owners in order to “JUMP START” our inaugural Diamond In The Rough Sale INCENTIVE PROGRAM . I’m thrilled with the quality of the 43 horses in this offering !!! Bloodlines are impeccable, many of these horses were in the top groupings of all the fall futurities last year and already proven to be winners………. And then we have what I feel is really exciting: the potential of the “maiden horses” consigned to this sale !!!
Okay, so why is purchasing one of these horses “in this sale” unique and provides a “can’t lose” incentive to purchase?
- Simple: Only horses that SELL within the sale go on to be eligible for lucrative purses of over $40,000 !!
- Lonnie & Tawni Ledbetter (Iron Horse Ranch) are generously putting forth $30,000 Purse Money into the Diamond In The Rough Stakes Classes to be held at WCHA Supreme Championship Show in OKC, May 16-17-18, 2025.
- An additional 10% will be withheld from final sales price of each horse that will then follow that horse into the stakes class they are eligible to compete. A $250 entry fee paid by new owner to enter each class will also follow the horse into the class they compete in. Building Significant $$$$ Payouts !!
- So…….. estimating 40 horses sell, we can safely estimate over $40,000 purse for only 40 horses competing !! And I’m going to give a payback to EVERY HORSE That Competes !!!! Win Win.

Three stakes: Yearling Stallions – Yearling Mares – Yearling Geldings (Open/Non Pro Exhibitors)……….. (Note: Come one, come all – this is an All Breed Maiden Stakes. Go find you an unshown yearling that wasn’t shown last year as a weanling)
- We are also offering a Maiden Class for Two Yr Olds……… same rules: River Oaks Ranch $10,000 Added Two Yr Old Maiden Stakes……All Breeds…. Some VERY nice two year olds in this sale also qualify as a maiden !
- We will payback EVERY HORSE within the maiden classes…………. How can you lose ?
NOT DONE YET………….. All of the yearling consignments in this sale are Eligible for the RIVER OAKS RANCH $30,000 ADDED SUPER STAKES !!!! Last year in its first year we paid out over $60,000 in these River Oaks classes, first place paid $6000 and every horse received a payback.
And then these same horses can then go on and compete in the Yellow Rose Yearling & Two Year Old Stakes in June, the WCHA Breeders – Big Money – Rising Star Futurities this fall in Fort Worth and other prestigious futurities and world championship shows…….. they are of the quality to excel.
