Ugly Christmas Sweater Jackpot Coming to AzPHC Copper Country P-O-R!
As 2017 nears an end, the Arizona Paint Horse Club’s Copper Country Paint-O-Rama is fast approaching! The show will take place December 29-31 and January 1-3 at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. New to Copper Country this year are Performance Halter classes, All Breed Ranch Riding, Ranch Pleasure Buckle Circuit, and Ranch Trail. Plus, don’t forget the free novice classes, reduced fee for amateur, open, and youth solid paint-bred classes, and SSA futurities.
Eight judges will officiate the show including: Jim Edwards, Sally Jo Freund, Bob Kail, Teresa Sullivan, John Briggs, Dave Denniston, Tim Jedra, and Mark McCarthy.

Special events abound at this fun show, including the ApHC Silent Auction, Boot Scramble, Exhibitor Dinner, Book Signing, Paint the Pinto Kid’s Activity, Doggie Derby, Pizza Party, and Ugly Christmas Sweater Jackpot class! The first annual Ugly Christmas Sweater 50/50 Jackpot will take place December 30th, 2017 during the lunch break at the Equidome arena. The class will be ride or lead. Walking only and leadliners may participate. Horses may be dressed, but it is not a requirement. There is a $10 entry fee. The ugliest sweater-wearer will receive 50% of the jackpot and 50% will go to the Arizona Paint Horse Club.
