UEC ANNOUNCES RIDERS OF THE WEEK
WACO, Texas – The United Equestrian Conference announced its Riders of the Week.
EQUITATION ON THE FLAT RIDER OF THE WEEK
Abbie Hopkins • UT Martin
- Went 1-1 last week for the Skyhawks in equitation on the flat and helped lead UT Martin to a 10-5 win over South Dakota State on February 8.
- Earned an 85-72 victory over her South Dakota State opponent.
- Her 13-point margin of victory was the second largest margin of victory in equitation on the flat.
EQUITATION OVER FENCES RIDER OF THE WEEK
Monika Zoromski • UT Martin
- Went 1-1 last week for the Skyhawks in equitation over fences and helped lead UT Martin to a 10-5 win over South Dakota State on February 8.
- Earned a 70-68 victory over her South Dakota State opponent.
- Named Most Outstanding Performer in equitation over fences in UT Martin’s win over South Dakota State.
HORSEMANSHIP RIDER OF THE WEEK
Lucy Eier • UT Martin
- Went 1-1 last week for the Skyhawks in equitation over fences and helped lead UT Martin to a 10-5 win over South Dakota State on February 8.
- Earned a 73-71.5 victory over her South Dakota State opponent.
- Named Most Outstanding Performer in horsemanship in UT Martin’s win over South Dakota State.
REINING RIDER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Mcdonald • UT Martin
- Went 1-0-1 last week for the Skyhawks in equitation over fences and helped lead UT Martin to a 10-5 win over South Dakota State on February 8.
- Earned a 72.5-71.5 victory over her South Dakota State opponent.
- Held her Auburn opponent to a 72-72 tie on February 8.
