UEC NOVEMBER RIDERS OF THE MONTH
The United Equestrian Conference has announced its November Riders of the Month on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month: Nora Gray, SMU
- Posted a 2-0 record in Equitation Over Fences during the month of November, helping her team to a pair of wins against Delaware State and No. 10 UT-Martin.
- Averaged a score of 82.5 for the month and defeated her opponents by an average margin of 15.5 points.
- Helped the SMU hunt seat squad to an undefeated fall semester.
Equitation On The Flat Rider of the Month: Brooke Nelson, Fresno
- Charted a 2-0 record in Equitation On The Flat during the month of November, earning one MVP honor.
- Averaged a score of 83.5 for the month and defeated opponents by an average margin of 7.5 points.
- Earned victories against conference opponents from UT-Martin and Delaware State, with an MVP honor against Delaware State.
Horsemanship Rider of the Month: Cheyenne Adams, Delaware State
- Recorded a 2-0 record in Horsemanship during the month of November with a pair of MVP honors. The appearances were the first two NCEA horsemanship competitions of her career.
- Averaged a score of 73.75 for the month of November. Both victories came against opponents from top-10 teams.
- Defeated Fresno State’s Taylor Dixon by 1.5 points and earned the MVP honor. Defeated Georgia’s Bailey Anderson by 0.5 points and earned the MVP honor.
Reining Rider of the Month: Noel Meadows, UT-Martin
- Recorded a 2-0 record in Reining for the month of November with one MVP honor.
- Averaged a score of 69 in the month of November and defeated her opponents by an average margin of 2.5 points.
- Helped UT-Martin as a team defeat Fresno State and fall by one point to No. 2 SMU.
