Two Martinganza Crew Members Honored at 2025 AQHA Convention

As we head into the start of the 25th Anniversary of the Martinganza AQHA Show and Futurity, April 3-6, 2025, at Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center in Williamston, NC, congratulations are in order for two of the Martinganza crew, says District VI Treasurer and Martinganza Show Secretary Susan Daniels.

District VI President Linda Falls was recognized Saturday night at AQHA Convention as the receipient of the AQHA Professional Horseman’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

“Linda Falls, a member of NCQHA over 50 years, is the president of District IV NCQHA and is one of the show secretaries at the show. She is a state board member of NCQHA, serves on the board of Border Belt Horseman’s Association, and has served as an AQHA Committee member for many years as well,” says Susan.

 

 

In addition, Conner Smith was one of ten recipients of the 2025  Emerging Leader Award, honoring young adults ages 21-35 for their success and contributions to the industry in their early careers.

“Conner Smith is a graduate of St. Andrews University, was western coach of Midway University in Kentucky for several years and is now back at St. Andrews working with Carla Wennberg, his mentor,” explains Susan.
