Trisha Yamber, Danny Desmond, and Dave Archer Win Big in Three Evening Signature Classes at 2013 Reichert Celebration

On the schedule for this evening’s festivities were three signature classes: the Reichert Pleasure Stakes Junior Western Pleasure, Reichert Pleasure Stakes 2-Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure, and Signature 3 and Over Green Horse Hunter Under Saddle.

First up was a new event to the Celebration this year, the Reichert Pleasure Stakes Junior Western Pleasure. Taking the top spot was Dave Archer aboard A Good N Hot Machine for owner Ernest Branson of Texas. The pair received a $520 check for their efforts. The Reserve Champion was Jim Jr. Chafin with Best Too Be Cool, who took home a $390 check. Rounding out the top three was Alan Fisher with Dontskip Thismachine for Elizabeth Parker, who will receive $260 in prize money.

Danny Desmond was the unanimous Champion in the second Reichert Pleasure Stakes class of the evening, the 2-Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure. Desmond piloted Laced By Chocolate to a win, and the pair was rewarded with a $495 check. Shannon Fisher with Skips Hot Cookie was the Reserve Champion and received $385 in prize money. Rounding out the top three was Amy Spiries with A Good Romancer, who received $220.

Finally, Trisha Yamber piloted Skip The Formalities to a win in the Signature 3 and Over Green Horse Hunter Under Saddle for owner Erin Shapiro Boatwright of Atlanta, Georgia. They received a check for $1788.75. The Reserve Champion was Katy Jo Zuidema aboard Willy Wanna Be Me for Kelly Smith. The pair received $1391,25. The third place finisher was Beth Case with Huntin My Zipper for Rebecca Kazakevicius, who earned $795 in prize money.
