Now there is even more to celebrate this fall with new futurities, saddle awards, and added money at the AZ Fall Championship and Pinnacle Circuit. With two circuits and twice the fun at the huge WestWorld facilities in Scottsdale, Arizona Quarter Horse Association is delivering exactly what exhibitors are looking for. The shows run from September 26th through October 4th.
L3 Horsemanship Champions in Amateur, Select, and Youth will be taking home a handsome Bob’s Custom Saddle for their hard work. Points will be combined from both the AZ Fall Championship and the Pinnacle Circuit.
L3 Senior Trail exhibitors will be battling it out for the Blue Ribbon trophy saddle awarded to the overall Champion.
New Trail Futurities have been added this year. There is a $3,000 added NSBA 3-Year-Old Trail Futurity, a $2,000 added NSBA 4 and 5-Year-Old Trail Futurity, plus a $500 added 3 and 4-Year-Old Non Pro Trail. Also new this year, is the $3,000 added NSBA Green Junior Western Riding, sponsored by Kent Ray Taylor.
All Around Non Pros can show their way to a saddle award as well. There will be saddles for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 exhibitors. Classes that count for the High Point award include Showmanship, Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Performance Halter.
Even more awards await exhibitors in Arizona. Circuit award winners at the AZ Fall Championship will receive trophies and The Pinnacle Circuit will present embroidered coolers to its circuit champions. There are Best of Show Awards for all around amateur, select, youth, and L1. Those champions will be strutting their stuff in a new pair of Rod Patrick boots and Cinch clothing.
The shows are anticipating record turnout. While class and arena schedules are currently posted, please be aware that an adjusted schedule that accommodates the increase in entries will be posted in the near future. Stay up to date with details at azfallchampionship.com.
