Ted Turner was at the lead of two big World Champions this afternoon at the 2014 AQHA World Championship Show. First up, Turner led Lookin For Romance to a win in the Three-Year-Old Mares class. Lookin For Romance is a buckskin mare by Acoolest and out of Bob Bob Barann. She is owned by Suzonne Franks of Cisco, TX.
The Reserve World Champion was Ross Roark with Giancarla for Vern Habighorst. Giancarla is a chestnut mare by Gianni and out of Miss Cool Diva. The third place team was Tim Finkenbinder with Xtrardinary, a bay mare owned by David Jeffrey Williams. The mare is by Extraordinarre and out of Amazie.
Fourth place was Luke Castle with Rockin and A Reelin, a bay mare by Execute and out of Bob Bob Barann. She is owned by Deborah Haarmann. Fifth place was Roy Donn with Chita Kid, a bay mare by TD Kid and out of Imprinted Manchita.
In the Three-Year-Old Geldings class, Turner was at the lead of This Big for owner Travis Dobbs. This Big is by My Intention and out of Say Sierra. The Reserve World Champion in the class was Gene Parker with Heza Cool TD for owner Midge Haven Farm LLC. Third place was Ross Roark with Westexascowboy for Tom and Amy Grabe.
Fourth place was Jodi Finkenbinder with Finally Employed for owner Kaye Garrison. Fifth place was Jeffrey Pait with Totally Unexpected for owner Arnold Holliday.
