The Pittman Ranch Purchases AQHA Stallion VS Code Blue

Jan Pittman of The Pittman Ranch is thrilled to make a very exciting announcement. The ranch recently purchased VS Code Blue, aka “Peyton,” a 2007 red roan AQHA stallion by RL Best of Sudden and out of Vital Signs Are Good.

“I’m so grateful to Donna Biddulph for allowing me to purchase this great stallion,” Pittman says. “The first time I saw Peyton, he was just a yearling. Bret and Candy Parrish took me to the Glovers to see him. I can’t remember a yearling ever wowing me the way Peyton did. We left the Glovers knowing we had to have him.”

Unfortunately, Peyton had an injury, so Pittman decided to pass on the purchase. It was a decision she has always regretted. When Pittman learned Peyton had moved to Canada, she sent Donna Biddulph a message: “Peyton wants to move to Florida.” Donna replied, “I think you are right.”

It was a tough decision for Biddulph, but she feels Peyton will now get the opportunity he deserves. During this talented stallion’s show career, he earned a superior in Western Pleasure, a superior in Trail, led the nation as the High Point Western Pleasure Stallion and led the nation in Trail. He was also in the Top 10 Performance Halter Stallions nationwide and placed in the Top 10 at the AQHA World Show in Western Riding.
