The Palmetto Paint Horse Club recently posted the photo above, and the message below in their group:
Are we lunging, lungeing, longing, or longeing around Camden next weekend?!
While you’re at the show, prepare a short clip/image of you with one of the on site signs and drop it in the comments here. There are a few located around the show grounds, so choose wisely!
The comment with the most LIKES will be the one deemed as (most) correct and receive a free stall for the September Carolina Classic show!
Let the lunging/lungeing/longeing begin.
So of course, since how to spell “Longe” is often debated, we had to see the funny videos! We managed to snag two of them and they are below. The first is the Sara Torres interpretation next to the sign that states, “No Lunging,” the lunge that is usually associated with an exercise!
Sara won the stall! Watch below:
Is it Longeing, Lungeing, or Longeing, or even Lounging? The Sara Torres interpretation
Then of course, there is “lounging,” which usually means to lie, sit, or stand in a relaxed way! Check out the video of Show Manager Dawn Parker, videoed by Kristin Roman, next to the “No Lounging” sign!
