The EMO Celebration Ups the Ante With $1,000 Added To Most Classes In Vegas

EMO Celebration

The EMO Celebration has made winning in Las Vegas a little more fun….and lucrative this summer from June 30 through July 10. Circuit Champions in most classes will be awarded $500, with reserve champions receiving $300 and third place finishers in circuit standings will win $200. The six judge show offers AQHA and NSBA open, amateur, select, youth and Level 1, plus cattle, ranch and reining classes. Futurities will be offered in Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Trail and Longe Line. Vegas may be hot, but the Celebration is cool. Exhibitors and their families love how they can stay where they play at the spectacular South Point Hotel and Equestrian Center. With indoor arenas connected to the indoor stalls, its comfy and convenient. There is also plenty to keep the non-showing members of the family occupied. Once the sun goes down and the classes are done for the day, exhibitors celebrate even further with the dining and entertainment on the nearby Strip.

Show organizers decided to forego the Western States Championship classes this year to best allocate time and resources to the AQHA circuit. The show has grown in size year after year with robust class entries across its diverse slate of disciplines. The 2022 schedule is designed to accommodate those increases and still provide a fun and rewarding experience. Cattle, reining and ranch classes are loaded on the front half of the show, while the rail, trail and pattern classes will be held during the latter portion. This year, Walk Trot classes have been added with their own circuit award buckle awards.

Judges love The EMO Celebration too. This year’s roster includes John Kunkle, Dolly Chayer, Jennifer Leckey, Nancy Sue Ryan, Leonard Berryhill, Bobbi Jo Stanton, Clint Fullerton, Jim Edwards, Allen Walton, Pete McAlister, Nancie Wright, Chris Benedict and John Pipken.

It’s important to keep the fun and energy up during a show and The EMO Celebration has loads of things planned for that. The daily give away awards are back with a great line up of prizes. Plus the PCQHA Youth are busy crafting a fun event too. It will be hard to beat the viral nature of last year’s riotous class, but they are determined to hit another jackpot this year. Stay tuned!

Fun, friends, cash, a family friendly venue, and endless entertainment…it’s no wonder that The EMO Celebration has shot to the top of the list for summer show destinations. All the show details are available at thecelebrationlasvegas.com. On line stall reservations are now open and there is a convenient hotel booking link on the Celebration website with special exhibitor rates. Exhibitors can also enter classes through HorseShowTracker.com.

Once again, the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Youth Association is hosting a fun fundraiser event at The Celebration Circuit in Las Vegas. This year, recruiting teams to compete in a Pro-Am Horsemanship Challenge. Each team will consist of a trainer and a non-pro competitor. Each team’s composite score on the pattern will be totaled to determine an overall winner.

During the event, all teams will be auctioned off in a Calcutta to raise money for the California Youth. This will certainly be a fun-filled evening for the teams and spectators alike.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please reach out to PCQHYA Youth President Cassie Ehrle (951)496-9901or PCQHA Youth Advisor Kellie Hinely (909)215-5431.
