Thank you for shopping our website for in-stock and consignment items. Of course, Showtime does custom clothing too. The process begins with us going over your fashion needs and the budget you are working with. Once we figure out what the customer needs, we collect an estimated 50% down payment towards the custom garment.

Once the deposit has been made, the design process starts. We will give the customer an estimated time of completion. We often start by referring to items we have online. The customer can tell us their likes and dislikes in fashion. Sometimes, photos of other clothing is helpful to bring ideas to life. We have used pictures of dresses, architecture, other show clothing, abstract paintings, and blown glass for inspiration towards a new one-of-a-kind outfit.

We will discuss the neckline you like, the hemline, cuff style, collar style, and back zip or front zip options. Also, what kind of embellishments, fringe or not, large stones or not, rocks, beads, brooches, chains, or studs? The list goes on and on.

Some clients, who don’t visualize things well, are not sure what they want, or just trust us, can simply turn the reins over. They will bring a saddle pad and say “match this,” or they just tell us to “make something in blue.” You can be as vague as you want and still get a great jacket!

Most often, the customer gets a sketch that’s somewhat like the two shown here: A pencil sketch with the basic lines and sometimes a colored version. If you have never seen our finished products, it makes it harder to visualize what the end product will be. (See the finished jacket based on these two sketches.)

We will need accurate measurements. We can do them for you in person or we can help you do them over the phone. Garments are guaranteed to fit as long as the measurements are accurate.
