Tenth Anniversary Keystone Showdown Recap

The Keystone Quarter Horse Association recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Keystone Showdown, June 16-20 in Centre Hall, PA.
This event has hosted the #1 AQHA Novice Show since 2014. This year’s novice show took place on the 16th with judges Carla Wennberg and Justene Testa. The AQHA show took place June 17th-20th with judges Shawn Hays, Michael Jung, Robbin Jung, Valerie Kearns, and Scott Neuman.

The Amateur Select Champion was Cowboys Image and Lee Ann Kimble. The Amateur winner was Frankly Im The One and Stacy Glowaky. The Novice Amateur winner was Cowboys and Hippies with Samantha Dizzine. The Youth 13 and under winner was Lopen Asset and Ella Mae Thompson.
The Youth 14-18 winner was Im N Outsider and Violet Shetler. The Novice Youth winner was Too Good To Be True and Kenidee Thomas. The Small Fry winner was Won Good RV Machine and Addison Gray. The Open winner was Im N Outsider and Violet Shetler.
