The tentative schedule for the 2017 Worldwide Paint Horse Congress has been released. The event will take place August 2-6 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and include Over Fence and Speed classes (4 judges) as well as a full slate of youth, amateur, and open Solid Paint Bred classes for 2017.
The schedule kicks off on Wednesday at 7:30 am with Halter, Performance Halter, Color classes, Showmanship, and Western Riding. Thursday’s classes include Pleasure Driving, Longe Line, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Leadline, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Ranch classes, and Reining. Friday’s schedule will see Back to Back Trail patterns, Western Riding, Ranch classes, Reining and Over Fence classes.
On Saturday, competitors will show in Halter, Performance Halter, Color classes, Longe Line, Showmansip, and Barrel Racing. Wrapping up the event on Sunday will be Pleasure Driving, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Leadline, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Pole Bending, and Stake Race.
