The city of Tampa Bay was exuberant over the weekend when the Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 to be named the Super Bowl LV Champions! One of the most high profile members of the team, with the exception of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowksi, is linebacker Devin White, who racked up 12 tackles, two for a loss, and a crucial interception during the game.
Before the Super Bowl even began, Devin already had a plan to celebrate. He was quoted in the media as saying, “If we get the W (win), I don’t care what they say, I’m pulling the horse out and I’m gonna hold the Lombardi Trophy and I’m gonna ride around.” Following the game, Devin took to Twitter to reach out to the Buccaneers General Manager, Jason Licht, to ask if he could take a victory lap around the stadium. Mr. Licht agreed and Devin mounted up!
Video footage on social media shows Devin riding his mare, which appears to be a Tennessee Walking Horse, around the field. Her name is Dream.
