Thanksgiving has long passed, but it’s never too late for turkey! AQHA competitors gathered November 29th- December 1st for a four-judge event with all-around awards to be presented in eleven divisions, circuit awards, and NSBA money.
Judges for the show were Buddy Fisher, Scott Neuman, Dan Trein, and Bruce Walquist.
Congratulations is in order for circuit champions at the show like Adrianna Tumey and Demi In The Dark in L1 Amateur Showmanship. Danielle Beauchamp was a winner with Surely Sheza Hottie in L3 Amateur Showmanship. Benjamin Kortz scored a top spot with Wrap Up The Money in L1 Youth Showmanship. Peyton Baxter was a winner in 14-18 Showmanship with Fightin Off Sleep.
Jennifer Paul led Ever So Sudden to a win in L3 Performance Halter Geldings and L3 Senior Trail. Lacy Watson was a winner with The Roan Show in Amateur Equitation. Jennifer Paul rode Sloww Motion to win L1 Trail and L1 Western Riding. Emma Tarter was a winner with Catch Twenty Two in L1 Youth Trail.
Elden Fredenburg rode Quita Machine to win Small Fry Western Pleasure. Lily Anderson was the winner in 14-18 Western Pleasure with Lover Treat Me Good. Kathleen Lennon rode One N Only Krymsun to win L3 Amateur Western Pleasure. Jennifer Olds was the champion in L1 Amateur Horsemanship with Looking Willy Good.
Also, there was plenty of money to be had in the NSBA classes. Winning $270 in Open Ranch Horse Riding was Jon Barry with Biker Chic Dream. Jennifer Burton won $653.04 with UR Certain To Look in Green Trail. Adrianna Tumey won All Age Non Pro Showmanship and $440.64 with Demi In The Dark.
