For the second year in a row, Taft Dickerson was named the Hylton Maiden Champion in 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure at the 2016 Virginia Quarter Horse Classic. Dickerson piloted Extremely Hot Diva to a big payday of $30,200 this evening in Lexington, Virginia!
Judges Brad Kearns, Rick Christy, Steve Meadows, Jeff Allen, and Casey Devitt determined Dickerson to be the winner out of a field of 16 entries. Last year, Dickerson was named the champion aboard Made By J.
The Reserve Champion in this evening’s class was Maggie Grandquist aboard the bay stallion, The Born Legacy, for owner Alexandra Chavez. The pair received a check for $10,556.
