WCHA
Now that the month of September, and a long futurity run is in the rearview mirror, WCHA wanted to provide you with a few more days to decide on what futurity horses you will take to Monroe, LA December 31st!
The Southern Exposure Halter Futurity is co-sponsored by WCHA and the Louisiana Quarter Horse Association (LQHA) and will precede the big Sugar Bowl Extravaganza Horse Shows. The Sugar Bowl will feature five AQHA judges and four APHA judges, split combined APHA and AQHA approved shows held January 1st- 3rd of 2021. For additional information on the show see: LQHA website.
WCHA is on a mission to raise $10,000 in added money to enhance the purses of the seven Non-Pro weanling and yearling classes offered, any donations of $250-$1,000 will make a difference! This futurity was the vision of Gilbert Arevalo, LQHA President and dedicated WCHA member who passed away in a tragic accident earlier this summer. In his memory we want to carry on his dream of hosting a significant halter futurity to close out the year in his home state. Please see it in your hearts to support this event with a donation and then come and participate in his honor.
