There are so many fun activities planned for the APHC Copper Country Paint-O-Rama that we don’t know where to begin!

First, there will be two warm up clinics on December 28th: a Showmanship Demonstration with judge and trainer Holly Hover from 10 am- 12 pm and a Trail class demonstration with judge and trainer Brendan Brown from 1 pm- 3 pm. These clinics are free to monitor for everyone at the Copper Country PORs. Then, there will be an exhibitor’s dinner at 6 pm.

On Monday, December 29th, there will be a fun Doggie Derby during the lunch break. From Sunday, December 28th- to Wednesday, December 31st, AjPHC members will be selling candy grams and frisbees, there will be a AjPHC Silent Auction, and a Stallion Service Silent Auction.

On Wednesday, December 31st, candy grams will be delivered by AjPHC, and there will be an exhibitors’ dinner and calcutta auction for the Costume Showmanship class at 7 pm. On Thursday at 2 pm, kids will be invited to participate in the Paint the Paint Horse Kids’ Activity and Photo Session, which is FREE for all kids. Then, at 4:30 pm, stick around for the always entertaining Freestyle Costume Showmanship class to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. On Friday, January 2nd, the AjPHC Frisbee Toss will take place.

There is no cost to enter the Showmanship class and prizes will be awarded to all entries. Music will be allowed if turned in by the entry deadline of 5 pm on December 31st. The time limit is two minutes and required moves include walk, trot, 360 turn, back, and set up for inspection. A rough out saddle will be awarded to first place!

Come to WestWorld in Scottsdale, AZ. to join in on all the fun!

Attention all exhibitors- WestWorld is being proactive in the protection of their equine exhibitors and the APHC is supporting their requirements. Effective July 1, 2014: A negative Coggins, dated within the previous twelve months, must accompany all horses brought onto WestWorld property.
