Sincerest Condolences Following Passing of Sidney Thomas

Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of a beloved member of the horse industry, Sidney Thomas, who passed away recently. 66-year-old Sidney met his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 23rd. He was preceded in death by his son, JT Thomas, and left behind his wife, Karen Cassata Thomas; daughter, Carlee Joy Price; as well as a sister, nephews, and father and mother-in-law.

Sidney was well-known for his deep Christian faith, friendly cowboy nature, and kind soul, as was evident from his love of his Double C Acres family and as a member of the American Paint Horse Association of Professional Horsemen.

A Celebration of Life in honor of this great man will take place Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Hartland Baptist Church at 4:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, North Carolina 28645.
