Sincerest Condolences Following Passing of OQHA’s Clark Bradley

The Ohio Quarter Horse Association is saddened to announce the passing of Clark Bradley. Bradley of Findlay, Ohio came from a family dedicated to the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. Clark Bradley was an instructor at the University of Findlay for 26 years. He became an active coach with the University of Findlay’s western equestrian team in 1996. He has helped coached several national championship teams and two reserve national championship squads.

Clark has also held prestigious positions such as President of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association, President of the National Reining Horse Association, and National Director for the American Quarter Horse Association.

Clark was a two time National Reining Horse Association Futurity champion and has achieved numerous All-American Quarter Horse Congress wins in western pleasure, reining, roping, cutting and versatility. He was an American Quarter Horse Association, National Reining Horse Association, and National Snaffle Bit Association judge. He showed at every single Congress since it began in 1967.

In 2001, Clark was awarded the distinction as the American Quarter Horse Association Professional Horseman of the Year. He is also an inductee of the National Reining Horse Association Hall of Fame and the All American Quarter Horse Congress Hall of Fame.

It was a privilege to know Clark Bradley. He left a lasting mark on the Ohio Quarter Horse Association and the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
