Participating in the 2020 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show; AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan); Adequan® Level 2 Championships; Nutrena Level 1 Championships; and/or AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals is a major milestone. The good news is your spotlight doesn’t end once you’ve competed. Here are five tips to spread the news of your success at this year’s show.

1. Share your achievements with your community via a hometown press release.

AQHA offers an easy way to share your achievements with your hometown newspaper. Exhibitors, simply choose a press release template from the Media Resources section of www.aqha.com/worldshow. Complete the easy-to-fill-out release, and send it electronically to your local newspaper to ensure that your achievements are highlighted for your community to see.

AQHA press release templates have everything your newspaper needs to get started in telling your story.

AQHA will send press releases to the top five AQHA Select All-Around, AQHA All-Around and Farnam Superhorse award winners, along with the Oklahoma City Leading Owner and The American Quarter Horse Journal Reserve Leading Owner winners. Exhibitors and contestants are encouraged to send releases for all other achievements.

2. Get social.

Share your #AQHAWorldShow experiences and tell your story from the Farnam AQHA World. Connect with us on Instagram (@officialaqha), YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter (@AQHA), and Facebook. During the week, don’t forget to use the hashtags #AQHAWorldShow and #GetThatGlobe.

3. Tell us about you!

The AQHA family is full of great people and amazing horses – each one with a unique story! Complete the Qualifier Bio Questionnaire so we can share your story with several media groups that attend the show, including the Journal.

Please stop by the Journal office and share your story ideas with the Journal staff while you are in Oklahoma City.

4. Share online coverage with family and friends.

Get caught in the crosshairs of a Journal photographer! Our staff will be posting photos and coverage at www.aqha.com/worldshow. Also share the link to the free live webcast, presented by Farnam, with your friends and family who couldn’t be with you in Oklahoma City! The link to the webcast will be available at www.aqha.com/worldshow.

5. Relive the win.

Are you a world champion? What a great accomplishment! We want you to be proud and show how your hard work and dedication paid off, so share your winning go on social media. Each world champion video is posted at www.aqha.com/worldshow and on the AQHA YouTube channel.

Exhibitors will receive a free digital file of their performance from official show videographer Equine Promotion to share on social media.

Exhibitors can purchase photos from official show photographer Shane Rux Photography.
