The second annual Pleasure Versatility Challenge, brought to you by Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses, is scheduled to take place at the 2019 AQHA World Show on November 16th at approximately 6 pm. Like last year, the event will be open to 3-year-olds that will be shown in a Versatility pattern, to count 40%; Western Pleasure, to count 40%; and Conformation class, to count 20%.
The pattern class is being sponsored by Cimarron Trailers, and the Western Pleasure and Conformation classes are being sponsored by The Equine Chronicle.
Prior to exiting the pattern portion, competitors will be required to dismount. All exhibitors may remount after the final horse has completed the pattern. Horses must remain in the make-up ring, or show pen, for the duration of the event.
Up to 25 entries will be accepted by AQHA World Show official entry by September 16th on a first-come, first-served basis. Horses may not have been shown astride in any Western Riding, Trail, or similar Pleasure Versatility Challenge prior to the official entry deadline. However, as of the official entry deadline and thereafter, horses may be shown without restriction at any competition (including the Quarter Horse Congress) without forfeiting eligibility.
An entry payment of $1,000 is due by September 16th. A late entry payment of $2,000 may be paid at the AQHA booth during the Congress, no later than October 26th.
