To close out the SOQHA Madness, the Maiden Horse Western Pleasure class crowned big winners and awarded thousands in prize money.
Of 20 entries, the judges, Holly Hover, Sara Simons, Garth Gooding, and Jon Barry, determined the winner to be Rusty Green with The Beat Gos On, winning $15,000 for Natasha Blanchard. The Reserve Champion was Randy Wilson with Battmans Vital Gal, winning $7,500 for Ron Shelly. Third was Jason English with Sure Am Southern, winning $5,000 for Marilyn White. Fourth was Kristy Starnes with Enchanted Lexus, winning $3,500 for William Dean Oliver. Fifth was Katy Jo Zuidema with Gettin Blazed, winning $3,000 for Cheryl Schembri.
Sixth was Mike Hachtel with RR Midnite Moonshine, winning $2,500 for Nettie Olsen. Seventh was Justin Clay Arrington with Nothinbutlazy, winning $2,000 for Ronnie Kent. Eighth was Adam Mathis with Machine Made Crystal, winning $1,500 for Richard and Betty Jo Carr. Ninth was Angie Cannizzaro with Southern Debutant for Elizabeth Maggert. Tenth was Bret Parrish with KM Made By The Best for Anthony and Christina Curiale. Also tenth was Jeff Long with Ona Moonlite Stroll for Ben and Dixie Susman.
Twelfth was Chris Jones with IB Real Lazy for Kaitlyn Smith. Thirteenth was Jamie English with Shes So Southern for Tamara Ray. Fourteenth was Blake Britton with HP Certainly Good for Steve and Tanya Relander. Fifteenth was Brian Baker with Stand Bye Me for Julia Pezold. Sixteenth was Brent Garringer with Undress In The Dark for Randy Kimmel. Seventeenth was Pat Heeley with VS Life Flight for Knapp Quarter Horse Farms. Eighteenth was Jacob Hartman with Chip Off Good Bar for Tanya Hartman. Also eighteenth was Kenny Lakins with ExtremelyGoodlooking for Kenny Lakins. Twentieth was Darci Ann Rapley with Cool Moving Machine for Jennifer Fulsom.
