RGP Database Reaches Billion Dollar Milestone

Robin Glenn Pedigrees is excited to announce that the RGP database has reached $1 billion in horse earnings. The 32-year-old performance-horse database focuses on American Quarter Horses, but also documents major accomplishments of horses from other breeds that cross onto American Quarter Horses.

Purchased by the American Quarter Horse Association in 2014 to enhance AQHA member services, the RGP database currently contains more than 264,000 horses, 1,500,000 performance lines and $1 billion in horse earnings, covering every performance event related to American Quarter Horses.

“In 1983 at the urging of the great horseman Robert Shelton, my mother and I started this database on a computer with a 10-megabyte hard disk, hiring a programmer still in college,” Robin Glenn said. “I wanted every horse to get credit for every achievement by combining this information with AQHA points and awards on our pedigree pages. So I purchased the entire NCHA and NRHA databases, and started an NRCHA database before that association even existed. Since then, the database has expanded to cover every dollar we can find from every faction, approved or unapproved. With all events rolled into one concise picture, RGP reports are invaluable.”

Available to the public at www.robinglenn.com, the RGP online service now offers two new features: earnings broken down for each of the major sport associations and the ability to create customized sire reports by utilizing several new filter options.

Robin Glenn Pedigrees has added $20 to all existing online user accounts to allow customers to review the new reports for free, and offers $20 in free reports to all new RGP Online users. New RGP Online report and service options are continually in progress, and exciting member services combining both AQHA and RGP information are planned.
