The Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association recently hosted their Nittany Classic and Futurity September 3-5 at the Centre County Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall, PA. Judges for the show were Brent Tincher, Casey and April Devitt, and Bobbie Jo Stanton. The event not only hosted four AQHA shows, but also a Futurity.

The winner of the 3 & 4-Year-Old Ranch Riding Stakes was Wicked Tuna, by Inferno Sixty Six and out of Hollywood Sure Stop, owned by Sharon Fisk and shown by Kristy Lee Smith. The winner of the QIP 2-Year-Old Snaffle Bit Futurity was Blazin In A Mercedes, by Red White N Good and out of Lady’s Blazn Mercedes, owned by Jane Knelly and shown by Lora Knelly Thomas. The winner of the Non Pro Yearling Longe Line Futurity was Creepin Up On You, by Justa Creepin and out of Shezacoolookinimage, owned by Ray Carmean and shown by Tonya Alexander- Carmean.
The winner of the 3 & 4-Year-Old Trail Stakes was Dont Skip Martini, by The Best Martini and out of Dont Skip This Award, owned by Kim Davenport and shown by Whitney Lagace. The winner of the 2-Year-Old Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure was Blazin In A Mercedes, by Red White N Good and out of Ladys Blazn Mercedes, owned by Jane Knelly and shown by Lora Knelly Thomas. The winner of the Harold & Darlene Lewis Memorial QIP Yearling Longe Line was PSU An American Doll, by Red White N Good and out of Hello Dollin, owned by Penn State University and shown by Chris Grant.
The winner of the Trick Shot Western Pleasure Maturity was Old Fashiond, by The Best Martini and out of A Winning Machine, owned by Madison Hurley and shown by Jonathan Meilleur. The winner of the Open Yearling Longe Line was Im Willy Wicked, by Makin Me Willy Wild and out of Little Ms Righteous, owned by Susan O’Connell and shown by Brett Caplinger. The winner of the 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure Futurity was Its A Huntin Thing, by Its A Southern Thing and out of Huntin A Blaze, owned by Maggie Cox and shown by Brian Cox.
The winner of the Bob Hendrickson Memorial Open Weanling Colt and QIP Weanling Colt Futurity was PSU Good Lookin Lad, by Red White N Good and out of Luv N Lady, owned by Penn State University and shown by Audra Fisher. The winner of the Vickie Zipperline Weanling Filly and QIP Weanling Filly Futurity was PSU Pinella Be Good, by Red White N Good and out of Pinella Pea Deville, owned by Penn State University and shown by Allison Hart.
