OQHA News
After last year’s success, the Buckeye Classic has opened up online reservations via HorseShowNerd.com. Reservations opened Saturday, February 1 at 5:00 pm, and over 200 stalls have been sold since.
Ohio Amateur Quarter Horse Association Show Committee member, Kristin Martin, says the show is expected to sell out of stalls, even though they have added more for this year. Additional camping spots have been added for 2014 and are also expected to sell out. Martin wants to encourage Ohio members and trainers to make their reservations early so that they don’t miss out on the show.
The Little Buckeye is scheduled for July 19-20 and is offering FREE YOUTH ENTRIES. The Buckeye Classic is July 24-27 and has FREE AMATEUR ENTRIES. Each show will also feature the Tabbed Out By Trainers Program. OAQHA hopes to expand the program and offer $150 to a random person in each Novice class.
