After a two-year hiatus, APHA’s Ranch Work Championships returned to the 2022 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Hosted in the historic Will Rogers Coliseum on January 28, the 2022 Ranch Work Championships had nearly 100 entries, paid out almost $10,000 and drew impressive crowd numbers to the innovative and uniquely formatted all-breed event.
To incentivize this year’s competition, Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo added an additional $2,400 in prize money. Awards for the Ranch Work Championships are presented in a three-division payout structure, with all-around awards offered to the highest overall-placing exhibitors across all events in each division. APHA also recognized the top-placing Paint Horse with a special award.
