PtHA Wrangler Exhibitor of the Month is Kathy Hood

The PtHA Wrangler of the Month for January is Kathy Hood of Olsburg, Kansas. Hood is an Elite Amateur exhibitor who has been showing Pinto horses for two years. Hood shows her 5-year old, tobiano gelding, Target To Ride, also known as Target. Together they compete in Pinto, Paint, and Open shows in Kansas.

She registered this horse at the Kansas State Fair then entered the show ring that day. They enter Western and English classes but her favorite are pattern classes.

“Target is the best horse I think I have ever had the opportunity to ride,” Hood said. “He is talented, good minded, and has an amazing personality.”
