PtHA Exhibitor of the Month for December is Madelyn Giesman

The PtHA Wrangler Exhibitor of the Month for December is Madelyn Giesman, who is a youth exhibitor from Wentzville, Missouri. Giesman has been showing horses for eight years and currently shows her Pinto, Diversified Options, better known as “Leo.”

Giesman recalls her first horse show being at a place called Therapeutic Horsemanship. “I remember being at horse shows, and my goal was to get one ribbon of every color,” Giesman said.

Today, Leo and Giesman compete in an array of horse shows from local Pinto shows to the Pinto World Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. “My favorite thing about showing my horse is that when we get into the show pen he knows his job, and he makes me feel safe,” Giesman says. “He gets out there and works his heart out for me in any class.”
