#4. How long have you been showing? 8 years
#5. What do you like most about showing your Pinto? “I like how friendly the Pinto Association is,” Carns says. “It’s welcoming to new members and has a lot of positive energy, which allows you to have fun.”
#6. What is your favorite class to compete in? Why? Ashley’s favorite classes to compete in are Hunter Under Saddle and Disciplined Rail. “Disciplined Rial demonstrates the willingness of the horse to do the task given, while Hunter Under Saddle allows the horse to move free and naturally,” Carns says.
#7. What is the funniest thing your Pinto has done? Carns says that Gunnar will play in the water with his nose during the summer.
#8. What is your favorite activity or sport outside of showing Pintos? “My favorite activity outside of showing horses is being involved in my FFA chapter,” Carns says.
#9. What do you want to be when you get older? “When I graduate high school, I plan on attending the University of Wisconsin Platteville to pursue a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Animal Science.” Carns says.
