Pinto December Wrangler Exhibitor of the Month is Alyssa Frickson

The PtHA Exhibitor of the Month for December 2014 is Alyssa Frickson of Oakdale, Minnesota. Frickson is a youth exhibitor who has been showing for eight years.
Frickson’s first show was an open local show where she competed on a 25-years-old Arabian named Nyzerene. “I have enjoyed every experience related to showing,” Frickson said.
Today, Frickson shows her mare Cincos First Impulse, also known as April. Together, they compete in various shows, such as the Pinto World Show, Minnesota Pinto shows, Paint shows, State and County 4-H, Minnesota State Fair, as well as many open shows.
“I like showing my horse because it teaches me how to be a team,” Frickson said. “It inspires me to be a good sportsman and it’s fun to compete.”
