Another horse show hosted over Memorial Day weekend was the Michigan Paint Horse Association’s Memorial Day Bonanza that took place May 25-26 in Mason, MI. Judges for the show were Dean Bogart, Jodi Finkenbinder, Melissa Dukes, and Bruce Army.
This was the first year with a new management team and new show schedule, and the entries were almost tripled from 2018!
Congratulations is in order for the High Point winners at the show.
Kinzie Cobbs and Whatcha Expect were named the Youth 13 & Under Champions. Josie Eckert rode The High Rise to win the Youth 14-18 title. Riley Francis and All For Me were named the Novice Youth Champions. Kayla Bernard and MD On Call won the Youth Walk Trot Champion title.
Reece Chapman and Hilfiger Again were named the Youth Solid Paint Bred Walk Trot Champions. Bailey Mccaffrey and Burnt Cookies won the Youth Solid Paint Bred title. MacKenzie Chapman and Hilfiger Again won the Open Solid Paint Bred award.
I’m Good to the Max was the Green Highpoint Champion for Jennifer Ross. Shes Alotta Splash was named the Open Champion for Robert and Patricia Ross. Brandi Feger and Zipped Up In Bay were the Amateur Solid Paint Bred Walk Trot Champions. Jennifer Kiser and Don’t Tax My Scotch were the Amateur Walk Trot Champions. Jessica Heyen and I Know I’m Hot were the Amateur Solid Paint Bred Champions.
Regina Schinker and Appealing Rose were the Novice Amateur Champions. Jamie Ross and Shes Alotta Splash were the Classic Amateur Champions. Norma Hamilton and Drop Top Diva were the Masters Amateur Champions.
