Perry, Georgia was the site of the 2017 Georgia Classic Quarter Horse Show, December 7-10. Although competitor faced a bit of rain and chill temperatures, class counts stayed up across multiple disciplines and divisions.
The event included a flat rate AQHA show with NSBA option as well as new rookie classes and versatility ranch horse classes. Judges for the show were Jeff Greaves, Christa Baldwin, Lori Gordon, Judd Paul, Curtis Reynolds, Dean Bogart, Chris Thompson, and Eddie Smith.
High Point Champions
Ron and Millie Corder’s My Daddyis Cool was named the High Point Halter Gelding for the show. They also had the High Point Halter Mare in Believe Im The One. In the Small Fry division, Gracie Sater was named the Champion with Hot Hip N Radical. Gail Burke rode Its Hot In Ocala to win the L1 Am Walk/Jog division. Lena Sater rode Hot Hip N Radical to win the L1 Youth Walk/Jog division.
Ana Cramer won both the Rookie Amateur and L1 Amateur with Lopin Lika Lexus. Robin Barrow and Heza Blazin Machine won the Amateur Highpoint title. Melissa Spinella and KM Boalicious won the Select division. Maranda Rickman and Hot Rockin Rhett won the Rookie Youth division. Dawn Hart and Only A Natural were named the Open High Point Champions.
Silas Himes rode Potentially Radical to win the L1 Youth division. Lauren Sanders and Absolutely Watch Me won the 13 and under division. Kendall Gill and Huntin Lucky Charms won the 14-18 division.
In the Versatility Ranch Horse division, Cindy Wheeler and CD In The Endzone won the amateur division. Allie Wheeler and Dun Played You Buys won the youth division. Stephen Freeman and A Legacy In Blue won the Open division.
