Gene Parker with Best Dawn Yet- Congress Champion 2-Year-Old Mares

The first day of Halter classes at the 2014 All American Quarter Horse Congress is flying by, and we have two new winners to congratulate!

Gene Parker was at the lead of Best Dawn Yet for owner Suzanne Kiser to claim a Congress Championship in Two-Year-Old Mares. The Reserve Champion in the class was Luke Castle with Miss Kittee for Vernon Habighorst. Third place was Jeffrey Pait with Secretz Galore for Gerri Leigh Pratt. Fourth was Dewey Smith with PF Cha Ching for Chester and Ann Prince. Rounding out the top five was Doug Landon with Lady Gigi with Steve and Kathy Headley.

Todd Grant led Cheerz to a win in the limited division for owner Angie Watts Schmeck. The Reserve Champion was Kenny Strohecker with FG Forever An Image. Third place was Chris Thompson with JMK Pretty Lite for Lisa McDonald. Fourth was Greg Holden with Yacool for Jim Payne. Rounding out the top five was Scott Kennedy with Sheza Yella Diva for Noreen Dean.

In the Three-Year-Old Mares class, Ross Roark was at the lead of Giancarla for owner Vernon Habighorst. Coming in Reserve was Luke Castle with Rockin And A Reelin for Deborah Haarmann. Third place was Tim Finkenbinder with Candys Mirror Image for Carolyn Stewart. Fourth place was Gene Parker with Chita Kid for Scott Trahan. Rounding out the top five was Mike McMillian with Shez Packen Heat for Carolyn Stewart.

The Champion of the limited division was Tim Finkenbinder with Candys Mirror Image for Carolyn Stewart. Reserve Champion was Mitch Leonarski with Extra Cute for Constance Jarve. Third place was Scott Kennedy with Nota Yella Mocha for Breda Dean-Kennedy. Fourth place was Bill Dickerson with Miss Extraordinary for Sharon Fisk. Rounding out the top five was Makayla Maciejewski with Formal I Will Be for Kelly Maciejewski.
