We would like to send our prayers and well-wishes to the family of longtime AQHA breeder and proud member Susan Clune who passed away early Saturday morning, April 11th, 2015 at the age of 66. Sadly, Susan woke early Saturday morning and wasn’t feeling well, so she decided to drive herself to a local hospital where she collapsed from a heart attack.

Susan’s Funeral and Memorial Service will take place Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel, which is located at 930 S Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034, Phone: (405) 341-3737.

Many of Susan’s friends in the horse industry have already left some very kind messages.

“Carrie and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Susan will be dearly missed as she was a smart, funny, fantastic woman, but she will never be forgotten. It was a privilege to call her my friend.” – Paula Pray, Louisburg, Kansas

“Susan was a wonderful horsewoman, teacher, friend and mentor to our family. She worked tirelessly to help Faustine become the best rider she could be. Our kids had so much fun at her house with her kids, plus she taught them how to love and care for those wonderful creatures that she loved so much. She will be missed.” – Faustina Curry, Pampa, Texas

“Susan was a great friend and top professional in the equine industry. Susan always had the courage to tell you the truth and look you in the eye when she spoke. Loving and loyal, you were always a great friend. Godspeed Susan, we will all miss you.” – Elizabeth Floersch, Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Our prayers go out to Susan’s family during this difficult time.
