Oodles of Added Money at 2024 Arizona Fall Championship

This September, Arizona welcomes horses and exhibitors from around the country to one of the favorite events on the AQHA show calendar. The AZ Fall Championship, held Sept 18-22 at WestWorld, has something for everyone at every level, including AQHA, NSBA, NRCHA and Ranch classes.

Exhibitors can opt for the all show fee of $475 and enter as many classes for which they are eligible, or pay for only a handful of classes. Besides great competition in a world class environment and plenty of points to earn, there is $55,000 in added money, along with high point saddle awards, Rod Patrick Boots awards, gift certificates, buckles, spurs, headstalls and other great awards.

All competition will take place inside WestWorld’s climate controlled arenas this year, with a class schedule and layout that will better accommodate exhibitors.  All of North Hall will be utilized as arenas and includes a dedicated Ranch show arena with its own Ranch warmup arena, plus an All Around show arena, with its accompanying All Around warm up arena. Reining, Cutting and Cow Horse will be in the Equidome.

Arizona shows are known for being a Ranch exhibitor’s paradise and this year is no exception with a number of lucrative purses to sweeten the thrill of victory. There is $10,000 added to the Bar 54   3 year old Ranch Horse Sweepstakes which combines scores from Ranch Riding and Working Western Rail.

For the 4 & 5 year old horses there is the $10,000 Added in the Markel Insurance Ranch Riding Derby, sponsored by Market and Debbie Cooper Performance Horses. Put together the best scores in L1 Open Ranch Trail, L1 Ranch Riding and L1 Working Western Rail and you might get a piece of the $3,000 added L1 Open Ranch Stakes. Amateur exhibitors can get in on the cash with the $2,500 Added Chas Roberts 4 & 5 year old Non Pro Ranch Riding Derby. The show is also kicking in $1,000 each to Senior, Amateur and Select Ranch Riding Derbies.

 

Cow Horse

$10,000 added Heaven Sent Ranch Cow Horse Futurity will undoubtedly deliver exciting action with some of the nation’s best contenders in the arena. Cow Horse Spectaculars add $1,000 each to Amateur Bridle, Open Bridle, and Amateur Boxing.

Mosey on over to the All Around and Rail side of the show and you will find plenty of money there too. There is $1,000 added plus a champion saddle in 3 Non Pro All Arounds combining Showmanship, Horsemanship and Halter. There is a division for Amateur, Select and L1 Amateur.

More money is added to the following:

$1,000 added 3 yr old trail Concurrent with 3 & 4 Yr. old Futurity

$1,000 added 4 yr old Trail Concurrent with 3 & 4 Yr. old Futurity

$1,000 added 5 Yr. old Trail

$1,000 Added L1 Western Pleasure

$1,000 added Sr. Trail

$1,000 added L1 Western Riding

$1,000 added L1 Hunter under Saddle

$1,000 added Sr Western Riding

Of course, AZ Fall Championship will also delight with fun and the opportunity to win outside the arena. The infamous Prize Patrol will be roaming the grounds with games and challenges for great prizes and gift certificates from our many vendors.
