An Oklahoma woman is accused of selling a Quarter Horse that did not belong to her, and of illegally altering the ownership documents connected to another.
In a written statement, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Bart Perrier said a pair of registered Quarter Horses had allegedly been placed on loan with Alana Diane Owens. Owens then allegedly sold one horse to an out-of-state buyer without the owner’s permission, Perrier said; investigators found that horse in Nebraska, he said.
