Nutrena and Zoetis Present Donations to the Foundation

Nutrena and Zoetis presented the American Quarter Horse Foundation with donations to support its programs during the AQHA Membership General Meeting on February 26 at the 2022 AQHA Convention in Las Vegas.
Nutrena
Since 2000, Nutrena has been an official nutrition partner of AQHA. Nutrena offers a complete line of feeds designed to provide optimum nutrition for horses, as well as the company’s premium pet line, Loyall. Nutrena presented a check for $15,000 to the Foundation on behalf of the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Association. This donation was made possible through Nutrena’s sponsorship of the Ride the Pattern clinics at the Ford AQHYA, Adequan® Select and Farnam AQHA world championship shows.
“The Professional Horsemen and -women of AQHA are the rocks of our industry, passing on their expertise, passion and care for this amazing horse,” said Russell Mueller, Nutrena Equine Category lead. “Nutrena is proud to partner and support the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Association in many aspects and annually supporting the Foundation, and wants to say, ‘Thank You for what you do!’”
Zoetis
The health and well-being of our animals is important to AQHA members. With more than 60 years of experience in animal health, Zoetis honored its dedication to our industry by presenting a check for $50,000 to the Foundation’s Equine Research Fund. This gift will help support research conducted by young investigators and advance their careers in the equine industry.
“Zoetis is proud to stand by the side of the American Quarter Horse Foundation and support its critical work in advancing the frontier of equine care, as well as securing the future of the equine veterinary profession,” said Jen Grant, Zoetis head of marketing. “The Foundation’s trailblazing work and dedication to horses and those who care for them is perfectly aligned with our mission and purpose at Zoetis.”
