From NSBA:
How It Works
Beginning October 1, all stallion breeding services will be offered for 75% of the advertised breeding fee through October 31
Horses not sold by October 31 will then be available to “Buy It Now” at half their advertised fee, plus $100. The minimum fee for a stallion to sell is $400 ($300 minimum breed fee plus $100 administrative fee).
Once a stallion’s breeding is sold for that breeding year, all foals sired by the stallion during the calendar year will be eligible for the Incentive Fund. The foal resulting from the sold breeding will receive a complimentary enrollment into the Incentive Fund.
