North Texas Tack Swap- April 12th in Fort Worth
Join the North Texas horse community to buy, sell and trade horse-related items at the North Texas Tack Swap on April 12, 2015, at the YMCA Camp Carter Equestrian Center in Fort Worth, TX. Come shop great deals on new and used name-brand tack, show clothing, saddles and more. The premier event will play host to tack and equipment from nearly every riding discipline.
The event begins with set-up for sellers from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A special shopping preview, reserved exclusively for sellers, is from 9:00 AM to 10:00. The shopping opens to the public from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The North Texas Tack Swap is open to anyone to sell. Save by pre-registering at northtxtackswap@gmail.com for just $15/space before April 10th, or $20/space at the door. Commercial vendors are welcome at $50/space. All sellers must bring their own tables, chairs and other display stands. There are no commission fees – all price and proceeds are set directly by the sellers. Clear out the tack room – a special “free to good home” table will be set up for any items sellers wish to give away.
“The response to the event has been fantastic,” said Laura Stevens, organizer. “We’re really pleased with the variety of tack that’s coming. People are bringing everything from high-end show clothing and other show tack to equipment for the casual and beginner equestrian.”
Parking and admission are free. Rain or shine, the Equestrian Center boasts a covered arena and barn, plus plenty of parking and a concession stand. Special display boards are available at the event to advertise horses, trailers and other large items for sale, so flyers and business cards are welcomed. Local horse groups, shows, clubs and professionals may also advertise on the Horse Pros & Shows display board.
Located at 5800 Meandering Road in River Oaks, TX 76114, the YMCA Camp Carter Equestrian Center is easily accessible off Loop 820 in Fort Worth.
