The American Quarter Horse Association announces that the AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), will be held in conjunction with the Farnam AQHA World Championship Show at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City for the foreseeable future.
“We are excited to announce that the Adequan® Select World will continue to be hosted with the Farnam AQHA World,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “The decision by the AQHA Executive Committee was made after in-depth discussions, a detailed review of event logistics and budget, and overwhelming feedback from AQHA Professional Horsemen and Select exhibitors to keep the shows combined. These premier equine events will feature amateur, Select amateur and open exhibitors, along with the top American Quarter Horses in the world competing for the coveted gold globe, world champion honors and over $2 million in cash and prizes.”
