It’s a sure bet that savvy Quarter Horse exhibitors will head to Las Vegas this summer for the new Celebration Circuit, encompassing the Summer Celebration, EMO Championship and Western States Quarter Horse shows.

  • Summer Celebration: June 28 – July 1, offering 6 sets of points
  • EMO Championship: July 3, 1 point
  • Western States: July 5-9, 4 sets of points

“With (a total of 10) judges/shows, running in conjunction with the EMO Western States Championship, exhibitors hunting competition and points will head to the climate controlled state-of-the-art facilities at South Point Equestrian Center,” says Doug Huls, show manager.

The show offers a full slate of western, English and cattle classes, plus the added attraction of the EMO Western States Championship show.

“There is no qualifying for the Celebration Circuit, so everyone is welcome to show, which makes this a show that all the top Quarter Horse barns will find enticing for all levels of riders.”

In addition, all shows from the Celebration Circuit are Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association-approved. This allows exhibitors who want to show for PCQHA year-end awards an opportunity to earn AQHA and PCQHA points. This show will also feature Level 1 classes for youth, amateur and open.

The EMO Western States Championship offers exhibitors a chance to experience a championship-style show. Due to its huge draw from 2016, the qualifying deadline by state has been extended to March 31, 2017. Qualification is by class, which offers exhibitors a chance to try different classes. The show is open to exhibitors from states west of the Mississippi River, so the competition will be deep in all arenas. Championship award presentations will take place following the completion of each championship class. Exhibitors will compete for gold, silver and bronze championship trophies in open, amateur (including Select) and youth western and English rail classes, trail, western riding, reining, working cow horse, roping, speed events and halter classes.

Class schedules and forms will be ready soon at: www.TheCelebrationCircuit.com and WesternStatesChampionship.org.
