New APHA Executive Committee Announced; Notables Honored in Hall Of Fame

David Lands of Gloucester, Virginia, was elected to serve as a member of the APHA Executive Committee during the 2019 APHA Convention in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 3. Garnering 66 percent of the ballots cast, David will serve as the Executive Committee’s Sixth Committee Member.
The 2019–2020 APHA Executive Committee is as follows:
- President: Mike Short, Shiner, Texas
- President-Elect: Casey West, Abilene, Kansas
- Vice President: Karen Thomas, Morganton, North Carolina
- Senior Committee Member: Alison Umberger, Broad Run, Virginia
- Fifth Committee Member: Melanie Cox-Dayhuff, Knightstown, Indiana
- Sixth Committee Member: David Lands, Gloucester, Virginia
- Immediate Past President: Craig Wood, Ph.D., Owenton, Kentucky
