The Awards Presentation and American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame Inductions banquets are two must-see events at the 2014 AQHA Convention March 7-10 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans.
The top athletes from around the world will be recognized at 7 p.m. on March 8 at the Awards Presentation Banquet. AQHA will recognize the 2013 AQHA Markel Insurance All-Around Youth, AQHA Farnam All-Around Amateur, All-Around Junior Horse, All-Around Senior Horse and World Champion Racing American Quarter Horse along with the AQHA year-end high-point award winners. The Professional’s Choice Don Burt Professional Horseman of the Year, Professional’s Choice Professional Horsewoman of the Year and Professional’s Choice Most Valuable Professional will also be revealed at the banquet.
While you are in New Orleans, you won’t want to miss the Hall of Fame Inductions Banquet. Watch as these legends permanently make their mark in history at 6 p.m. on March 9 as four men and five horses are inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame.
The Awards Presentation and Hall of Fame banquets are just two events at the AQHA convention. AQHA’s annual convention is filled with events and activities for AQHA members – general membership meetings, committee meetings, the President’s Reception, sponsored by Zoetis, and much more.
