Minnesota Pinto Horse Association Cancels This Weekend’s Spring Fling Due to EHV-1 Concerns

Sadly, EHV-1 concerns have resulted in another casualty on the horse show schedule. Recently, the Minnesota Pinto Horse Association decided to cancel their 2015 Spring Fling, due to concerns of EHV-1 in Minnesota and surrounding states.

The following message was posted on their club’s official Facebook page this week.

“Minnesota Pinto has made the difficult decision to cancel our Spring Fling show, May 23-25, at the Minnesota Equestrian Center. We hope to reschedule this show this Fall. MPtHA values the safety and health of our participants’ horses above all else. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you will join us for our upcoming shows this year!”
