Martha Stewart Writes NY Mayor Insisting Investigation Into Horse Death

According to a piece released Wednesday by The New York Daily News, Martha Stewart has written a letter to New York Mayor Bill de Blasio insisting that the recent death of a carriage horse named “Tickles” be further investigated. Her concerns stem from previous reports that indicate his caregivers did not know what caused a leg fracture.

Within Stewart’s letter, that’s being circulated around the Internet, she’s calling for an inquiry into the history of any prior health problems, how long the animal was in pain before he was euthanized, and if cramped living conditions or inhumane treatment may have contributed to his death.
